I am Joe Troncale. I am a physician and a potter. Clay is such a wonderful medium of expression, but it is so practical! All from, as Simon Leach says, the "humble" materials of clays, minerals and water refined by fire.

Joe Troncale: New Holland, Pennsylvania, United States; Have been doing pottery for the past 13 years. Stoneware functional pottery is what I do. No one has ever accused me of being an artist, nor am I expecting that distinction in this lifetime. As a physician, I work at Lancaster General Hospital in the Occupational Medicine Department and Urgent Care Centers. I have a special interest in Addiction Medicine and have a radio show called "Trudge the Road" that deals with addiction and families that is syndicated in many parts of the United States.
